The 7th Fresh Paint Art Fair is expected to gather thousands of visitors and hundreds of artists, in Tel Aviv. It is one of Israel’s largest art events and is held in a different venue each year. Israeli galleries, museums and art institutions present their best pieces, and the artists get the opportunity to broaden awareness of contemporary Israeli art and build connections with the global art community, in a way it is a “Greenhouse” for artists.

December 9 Prime Minister of the Netherlands – Mark Rutte, who came to Israel with official visit, took a bike-ride in the central part of Tel Aviv.
Rutte and the accompanying members of the Dutch delegation took the bike from the “Tel-O-Fun” Company, which rents out bikes by using self-service stations located in different parts of the city. (more…)
Israel is experiencing what local tourism experts are calling an unprecedented boom in new luxury hotels. International luxury brands are making their first forays to the Holy Land. The Ritz-Carlton will open its first hotel in Israel in December in Herzliya; the Waldorf Astoria is under construction in Jerusalem, with a 2014 opening date; and the W will debut its first Israel property in 2015 in Jaffa, next door to Tel Aviv. The Ministry of Transport of Israel and the organization of taxi drivers have signed an agreement to install devices in cars that read credit card data. So far, the possibility of payment by credit card exists only in a very limited number of taxis.

High-end hotels are blooming in Israel these days like, well, so many spring flowers. Three premium hotel chains — the Hilton Corp., the Ritz Carlton and the Jewish state’s Isrotel — will open new venues in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Herzliya in the next few months, in time for the summer travel season.
Israel’s El Al flight attendants have been voted the most beautiful, coming first in a top ten of airlines with the most beautiful staff.
