Bethlehem and Jericho

We will drive to Bethlehem via Nativity Circle, visit the Church of Nativity, also the cave where Jesus was born and the Manger Square, where Jesus was placed after his birth. Also visit the Greek and the Catholic Church and the Milk Grotto, where Mary fed her son. Overview the Shepherd’s Fields and visit the church. Depart for the Judean desert, on route view the Innof the Good Samaritan. Overlook the breathtaking view of the moon landscaped Judean desert. Short stop at sea-level and continue to Jericho – the oldest city in the world. Stop at Zacheus Sycamore, the oldest Sycamore tree which Zacheus climbed in order to see Jesus walking by. We will visit the Mound of Ancient Jericho where 25 ancient cities were uncovered. Jericho was founded at 8000 B.E.C and famous from the biblical story in which spies where hosted there. Jericho is also the oldest Jewish settlement, captured by Joshua and Israel in 1200 B.E.C. Stop for overview of mt. Temptation where the Satan tried to tempt Jesus and overview on the oasis of Jericho and Elisha’s spring. Return to hotels.

Tour to Petra from Eilat

Exit Eilat (from hotel or airport) and proceed with our representative to Arava Southern Border. Here you are assisted with the visa and border tax payment. Cross over border and meet guide and embark on vehicle to Petra via Desert high way for 80 Km. Along the King’s highway near the Palace of Prince Hasan will stop for the spectacular view of the mountains and Biblical landscape. Enter with your guide into the Red Rock city of Petra to see the highlights of this ancient Nabatean culture. You will enter the city through the Siq and be rewarded with the most astonishing and dramatic monument in Jordan: the Treasury. You will also visit the theatre, the tombs and facades and the colonnaded street. We will then have lunch at local restaurant. Return drive via city of Aqaba and then back to Southern border for exiting and return to Israel.
