The Day of the Holy Trinity in Jerusalem

Last Sunday, in the main church of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem was celebrated important church holiday – the day of the Holy Trinity. On the eve, in the Trinity Cathedral was committed a vigil, led by the head of the Mission – Archimandrite Isidore.

On the feast day, June 23, was the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, which was headed by Beatitude Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine Theophilos III. Also, this divine service was attended by a representative of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission – the head of the Mission, Archimandrite Isidore. After the Liturgy, His Beatitude made a festive evening service, for which in front of the Holy Edicule – the Chapel of the Holy Sepulcher were read statutory kneeling prayers in Greek and Arabic.

At the same Trinity Cathedral festive liturgy was held under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission – the abbot Theophanes.
